Custom Stickers: Becoming a problem

Look I enjoy a funny joke, you enjoy a funny joke. But how far is too far? Game sessions have been getting flooded with custom sticker messages that are vulgar, racist and even worse are just plain annoying with the spamming. Yes you can mute the senders one at a time but that gets tedious if the entire lobby is spamming. I honestly don't care about censorship, people are adults and can choose for themselves. There just needs to be an option to just "disable" or turn off custom stickers, and no playing solo is not the answer. If there is a good way that I missed please let me know! For now I've just been hopping to another lobby when it gets too annoying but the problem is getting worse and worse as people figure out how to do this :/

Report them. Period. If they spoil the fun of others, they should not be tolerated.

I would love to sit and report people all day but I would never be able to actually play the game at this point lol. And I'm not sure spamming is even a reportable offense. Every other multiplayer game I've played gives you an option to mute text based chat from randoms, just give me something similar to that. All I'm asking.

Make a private lobby? I sincerely doubt people are spamming racist stickers inside the hunts, so you can make/join SOS from a private lobby and alleviate this issue. Or I dunno.. join a squad of actual people instead of children.

There are active steps to take and it's frustrating we can't disable lobby chat. Private squads are where its at, better hunters anyway when working together properly.

Anyway, in my experience people fire a sticker off maybe once or twice at the start and the same at the end and all of them are fine in my view. Taking such annoyance from these, I mean... if you are spending so long in a lobby you are seeing this many stickers, you should probably be in a hunt.

Rise actually had settings to turn off chat completly. Seems like Wilds doesnt.
Well, its cooked. On EU server ive seen only d1k jokes stickers tho

Stickers are stickers. People who spam the bad ones in lobbies spam the same ones in hunts, too.

Sure, you're limiting the pool of degeneracy using a private lobby but that doesn't fix the root cause.

Why are people so defensive against this lol. I don't want to play in a solo lobby. I like seeing others characters and palicos. I just don't want my feed constantly spammed with annoying messages. It's not that hard. Every other multiplayer game since the creation of online has had a way to mute text chats or disable it somehow. It's a very small thing to ask. Anyone making it more than that is probably one of the ones spamming dumb messages in public lobbies lol.

Just block them, no amount of whining about it here is going to make a difference. Capcom isn't here.
