Trash Bosses

Dont get me wrong, the bosses have good design and the monster attacks are great, the amount of attention to detail on this game is incredible BUT who the ♥♥♥♥ decided to take the bosses HP and scale it up 10x, make their AI ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and make the BOSS run away from you even at level one every 2 seconds, oh and remove all health bars.

Its like the bosses are good but why the ♥♥♥♥ do I have to spend 30 minutes on a boss like when you loose their isnt even a way to track how far you got, no health bar, no percentage, no phases, just the same exact ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ basic ass easy ass boss that you have to fight for 30 minutes, too be honest its more annoying than hard. Plus for some reason every 2 minutes the boss runs away from you and goes 2 feet, thinks its safe and stops. Who the ♥♥♥♥ had the idea to give the bosses extra chromosomes. I went to go fight a boss he ran away LEGIT 3 FEET and started SLEEPING MID FIGHT. Like bro, nah but real ♥♥♥♥ the bosses are good but they just need to be tweaked, they shouldn't have released this game for PC yet 2, my game freezes every 30 seconds and I deadass got a blue screen playing this game. It just feels like theirs a lot of work needed to be done on this game.

OH YEAH AND THAT BLACK OILED UP ♥♥♥♥ BRO HE KEEPS ON SPAMMING THE SAME MOVE WHERE HE IMPREGNATES THE FLOOR AND NUTS EVERYWHERE. (ngl he wasnt a bad boss butt id like to see more diversity in his moves than AUISDIASD NUT NUT NUT NUT IN A BUT DINDINDIDNDG IMMA GO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ NUT every time)

EDIT: Ive identified the problem here 😭😭😭 DAGGERS ARE FCCKIN GARBAGE I though cuz its melee and close range and jin woo and aura it would be op but turns out DEALING 2 DAMAGE at thunderdragon guy was not the ideal dps, so liek its also kinda on me for accciideennttallyy skipping all of the tutorial I only know dodge R heavy left right and both as like attacks or smthin. I tried upgrading daggers cuz daddy jin woos aura farming never lies but it did and I only did 4 damage AND THE WORST PART IS I COULDNT UPGRADE DAGGERS ANYMORE because i needed to unlock more so i dead just switched weapons and this ♥♥♥♥ got so much easier i mean i no longer have aura but its worth it

Oof hate to break it to you but you are suffering from the severe ailment that is skill issue. If this is your first MH game, it's understandable but really, nothing should take you more than 20 minutes as this game has arguable one of the easiest stories to date.

The hardest hunts I've had in the game never went above 20 minutes. On average they end up being much closer to 10. Rise and World (especially World) took much longer than the ones in Wilds do. If anything, this game has reduced hunt times... and I'm actually surprisingly fine with that.

The bosses in this game is made out of paper compared to earlier games in the series.

nah, this game is significantly easier than its predecessors. even as a new player if you're taking more than 30 minutes to kill a monster you're severely under using the game's mechanics that it throws in your face in the first 3 hours

in low rank, its easier, but high rank is roughly the same.
Also you are VASTLY underestimating how much there is to monster hunter for newcomers. A new player has to learn a lot of what we already know.

This is not souls like game, this is not bosses and no one spend 30 minutes on "boss" fight
if you fighting more than 10 min its something wrong with you or equipment

Oh to be a beginner in world again using bow, refusing to use anything but normal ammo in case i need the better stuff for a tougher monster later. Utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hunt times

Those are the kinds of times I used to have on my very first monsters, but that was back in Tri. Even new players shouldn't be getting times like that in Wilds unless they never use the Seikret. Ever. And never call SOS. And never attack.

I could be wrong on this, but I'm pretty sure you could kill any monster in the game, throughout Low AND High Rank, using the default weapon you start with without ever upgrading it, in less than 30 minutes.

I don't think the OP was being literal, though, so I don't know why we're talking about this.

Some monsters are just like that lol. In previous entries, Tigrex practically only had 1 attack, Khezu just roared for half the fight, Barroth was just Tigrex but smaller, etc.

Btw, if you want a battle buddy for advice, or just to hunt and kill stuff with, I'm open.

Average fight with decent players that are not afraid to attack the target shouldn't take much longer then 10min or so... give or take a few min depending on boss.

This game is pretty easy with players that are comfortable with their weapon and build up their gear so they can take a few hits before rolling out to heal up...

I honestly think END GAME Chapter 6-1 should unlock online mode. They should force you to beat the game solo before you can play with other people.... it's what I did and I came out completely ready to go and hold my own... too many people I think expect other people to kill the monster for them because they just don't want to get in there.

You could do the same in Tri as well. In fact you can kill Alatreon in Tri with boomerangs in around 30 minutes, which is less powerful than the weakest of weapons.

Experience is a major factor in time in these games. Even experience in other similar games can help quite a bit. But people who are jumping in to these for the first time, still have a chance to even time over.
