Was that ever a thing in previous games?
Not outside of event quests.
I'm at almost double that.
Thats just player mentallity because he is 8* and easyer then GM.
I think i was up to 17 whoppers so far, i am also very upset i lost my gold crown platinum fish i caught, as i did not realize my game did not save.
Dropping like 14 lvl 3 decos in a quest with 2 non tempered monsters that takes like... 8~10 mins to clear is pretty cool, tempered arkveld only really drops artian weapon parts.
For some reason though tempered arkvelds investigations pop up every other second while gore and the fat one is like once in a blue moon and probably not even a double monster investigation which makes it garbage.
I know what Monster Hunter is, been playing it long enough to know the formula. I do wish they would take the time to expand on the core game play with more depth like I mentioned.
For 2025 the game feels so basic it's sorta disappointing.
Technically the previous game. Sunbreak's "Anomaly monsters" basically buffed all monsters to where even beginner monsters were not a bunch of striking dummies. (Although they did become damage sponges) Story based reason meant they disabled capturing so you had to slay them. Gave unique materials for upgrading armors/weapons.
