How to get the jawbone blade?

you need to set the support ship to "misc" items, doing so allows him to bring "commission" tickets which you need three total to craft and upgrade the jawbone blade.

The thing is, you need to buy all the weapons he offers until it lowers the pool of available items to regularly get the commission tickets. 100+ hours in I didn't see a single one until I started buying out those weapons. Now they regularly show up.

Step 1: Unlock the support ship by reqching high rank
Step 2: when support ship arrives set what he brings to "misc"
Step 3: buy all the weapons he sells
Step 4: After all the weapons are brought you have a higher chance for commission tickets

If you want to speed up the progress to make the support ship arrive and/or depart then go to your tent and rest (aka both second options. I think it is plenty and morning. Costs like 300 resource points) and keep doing thay until you get the results you want

He only brings weapons up to tier 5 or so. You could probably brute force the RNG by crafting as many weapons up to that tier as possible.
