As for the camera, either up your turning speed if that’s even an option. I haven’t checked if that’s an option because most players are probably just gonna change the camera settings to refocus so that the camera works like it did in the older games. When the monster jumps behind you, refocus the camera.
You can also draw into block by pressing both attack buttons and the guard button with your weapon sheathed. The same as it always has been and was in world.
this is like the most useless move of all the weapons in the game... what is the point of giving GS a counter if it's not viable ?
I accidentally knock ark around and I am a terrible hammer user.
figure not hard with a greatsword
Upgrade your armor. Also the offset attack on greatsword is incredibly overpowered. It’s probably the best offset in the game. It’s so easy to fish for, you can roll out of it and keep doing it, landing it gives you a crazy strong follow-up.
I understand if you personally don’t like the mechanic. That’s one thing. However, calling it bad is just ignorant.
I used the perfect guard, and the tackle to deal with his attacks, some of his moves are too fast to setup for an offset attack, the only move I used the offset on was his highly telegraphed double chain slam attack.
show me how often you land it during a hunt then
