is this quest is bug? what ever i do the whopper didn't take the bait.. i already spend a lot of time on this quest until now its not taking the bait.. can you help me guys what did you do to finish this annoying quest..

If you have the proper bait, just cast it out there towards the whopper, push the stick forward, pull it back. This starts a slow reel. The only lure in the game that works "Properly" with jigging motion, is called a tentacle jig. Everything else, is slow reel.

If you're on a keyboard and mouse setup, cycling between W and S while the lure is in the water performs the slow reel. Also, make sure the correct lure is assigned (for instance, you're not likely to hook the whopper using the golden lure, and in murky waters the Dusty lure works best from my experience).

Once the whopper is hooked, the best advice I can give is to follow the direction of the fish with your WASD (whether it's swimming or when it jumps out of the water) as this prevents your line from breaking, and don't forget to reel them in by repeatedly tapping W and S when you see the fish slow down (you'll notice this happening after you've been following its swimming for a few seconds).
