Report a translation problem
I can only assume you had the bad luck of starting a fight relatively close to when a new monster was set to spawn.
I guess it is relatively bad luck. Does this still count when the said monster doesn't appear in the world map (not detailed map) when I return to base camp? Upon finishing the field hunt (which was what I did for the Ark), I returned to camp, checked the world map, and Rathian isnt counted in despite being in the detailed map.
Considering that it's the hollow where there's nowhere to run off to, I guess this makes it the perfect accidental double hunt. Might as well keep it saved, might be useful in the future.
