So given that we basically know this is the Equal Dragon Weapon, and that it has association with Fatalis (with its move sets and the lore surrounding Fatalis fighting ancient civilizations), will we finally be getting White Fatalis himself at some point? Maybe as a Master Rank final boss?

We haven't seen the top dawg since the 4th generation, and World releasing regular Fatalis could be foreshadowing CAPCOM's intentions. IDK

I just want this cool monster back.

Dunno. I'm at least kinda positive we're getting Shageru Magala given his kids are literally crawling everywhere.

Eh, EDW is more like a Frankensteins Monster while Zoh seems to be a genetic chimera if we're pedantic, and he shares moves of various Dragons, not just Fatalis (Gaismagorm, Alatreon, Shara).
Which actually reminds me that i don't really care all that much about white fatty, i actually really want overtuned Shara Ishvalda. And Seltas Queen.

I feel like zoh shia will be hunter rank 9 in the uodate. Last 2 games had high rank 9 so it was weird that this one only went to 8

It does kinda seem like they're rehashing their own story and making Shia another kind of amalgamation weapon. Whether the ancients intentionally tried to use different elder dragons to make Shia or the Wylk naturally manifests them is the current mystery I guess.
