Rey Dau Bug?

I am at the story mission where you have to fight rey dau. I left the fight right in the beginning, when I joined back into the game, the first 2 stages when normal, but the 3rd (where you are in the blue crystal area) I stayed for like an hour before it got too stupid for me and I quit, because this cant be real, right?

What do you want me to explain. Im in the area with the blue cristals and I shot him with my crossbow for like an hour.

This has been reported as a bug before, that the game fails to trigger a cut scene during a fight. Story missions only. Just have to redo, and it should fix itself.

Did he land in the arena? Did he stay flying in a fixed position while you shot him? Were you getting damage hit indicators with numbers? Details!!
