Steam Deck streaming still not working for MH: Wilds
I've tried many things in an attempt to solve my problem but none of them have worked. Hoping that someone can provide a solution as I really want to stream to my Steam Deck.

So far, I've tried
-Turning off frame generation
-Turning off DLSS
-Starting the game on my pc the clicking stream
-Starting the game from my steam deck
-Restarting my pc and steam deck
-Reinstalling MH Wilds

As for what actually happens, the game will enter the launch screen on Steam Deck (i.e. the page where the cover is repeated a bunch of times) but then crash while the game continues to load completely fine on my pc, in Steam Deck resolution so it knows I'm trying to stream it on Steam Deck. If I hit "Connect" after it has fully loaded on my pc, it will again go to the launch screen then just crash to home. Any input is appreciated.

Same. SO ULTRA LAME. Literally the only game I even want or care about to stream, and it doesn't work. I tried everything to get it to work. Nothing helps.

Try using Moonlight on the Steam Deck and Apollo on your desktop to stream. That's what I use to play in bed while my wife nags me to death.

Strange. I've been playing almost exclusively streaming to the steam deck around the house.
Try changing the video encoding method in steam settings. Since you're on nvidia, try turning off the nvidia encoding and use another method. My problem is the game video feed will freeze after a while, but thats probably my wifi.

I've never had good luck with streaming any game. Why not just install it to the Steam Deck?

Way better performance and visuals streaming this rather than installing and playing off the deck.

Performance is hilariously bad trying to natively run Wilds on the Deck
Works fine for me ever since the latest steamos update.

When did you try? I checked last Sunday for an update and saw I was up to date. Tried again and have the same controller issues as others when trying to stream to steam deck.
Not a fix but a welcome alternative: Goto your steam deck desktop, open up steam link, and play MHWilds from there. Hold start/select (default) to activate controller.
Did this ever star working for any of you, I stream it using Remote Play and it does respond to buttons

Hey, Icy, you’re streaming MH Wilds to your steam deck with no issues?
