Can i craft the death stench armor armor when i still be in low rank?

i believe if im not mistaken its only HR armor. im not in game atm, cant look. sry.
and again i dont remember that which monster you need to kill or which material to farm first, to unlock it.

Correct. It is hard to get armor. So they did not put a cap on it

High rank unlocks after finishing chapter3 story quests. and you start unlocking more sets with ch4-5-6 monsters, by killing smaller HR monsters, by capturing few endemics etc.

death set's rarest material is sinister cloth, which can come from material farmers as side product or you can trade-in with few tribes.
