odd bug with "downed" monsters
Has anyone here encountered an issue where a monster will go down, and you get the prompt to carve the monster but the quest isn't complete and it will eventually get up and keep fighting?

There is a monster that plays dead like that, it's actually monster mechanic.

This is the first I've heard anyone report such a thing for any monster other than gypceros, which is a gimmick specific to that monster and only that monster.

Are you sure you're not confused about something, like you put it to sleep? Or captured it while somehow not understanding how that works?

Something isn't adding up here.

No, you can't carve a monster thats asleep, and I had the option to do so.
If youz use any mod I would disable it.
