Insane amounts of Artian pieces in a quest!

I just now recieved over 500 pieces of Artian gear after doing only one lobby investigation, it was a Tempered Blangonga and a Gypceros. Is this suppose to happen? Did someone happen to cheat all of that in?!

cheated probably, i dont do sos flares so not sure what kind of whacky stuff cheaters are doing.

Yes, people mod quests and such nonsense and sometimes share it multiplayer.

It is what it is. Capcom won't ban, they don't care about these things in Monster Hunter.

I tried to report them, but it is too much effort to do that. You should be able to do that via the questmenu you can join too.

What happens now that I have it all in the box? Should have I sold it all? I don't want to get banned by accident because of a damn cheater!

those pop up now and then, they're cheats, this game has a very limited endgame so I'd suggest to anyone to avoid altered SOS quests or you'll quickly run out of reasons to do anything.

I'll never understand people who will spend money on a game only to cheat and nullify 80% of the gameplay.

youll be find you can keep them nothing will happen to you so long as you dont keep joining those missions. if you happen to join one just drop out of it since you can view the information of the mission though the menu.

I'm HR 219, at this point i'm more into actually crafting gear from the actual monsters rather than Artian (Unless I need one specific status on a specific weapon type that doesn't have it) and also learning new weapons while helping out newbies. I'm not really into Crown hunting so I went into that quest just to get my hunting fix. On top of all that, the Gypceros they hunted was a Gold crown! Probably cheated that in as well :P

With the exception of HH, Artian weapons are generally better in every way. Besides being able to reroll them for perfect stats for specific builds simply having 3 rank 3 gem slots makes even bad rolls on par if not better than the monster weapons... ownly downside to them is how f*****g ugly they are.

The armor sets kinda just happen, think i've crafted all a and b variants of pretty much everything but some of the 'hidden' armors. so i can just smelt everything to feed all the artian weapons and elements.
