I was wondering how come I din't get the claw after like 6 hunts, but it's not that I didn't get it , i got it and the game didn't register it because this game is a buggy piece of ♥♥♥♥
yeah this is definitely bugged looks like I'm not the only one saw this problem
I read through it. He said he is trying to craft a Marathon Runner talisman. The claw he seeks drops from the low-rank monster. He said he checked and he is definitely hunting the high-rank monster. He's not experiencing a bug he's not hunting the right monster.
You can look through your Large Monster Field Guide and examine the difference in drops between high and low rank which you can toggle between in the Obtainable Materials tab. Look for which one has drops that have a pin in it, which it should have as long as you wishlisted the thing you want to make.
If the drop is one you need you would get additional messages that say a wishlisted material was obtained. Not just a message that you got a skull or a claw.
But you will continue to see people defend the game and claim user error.
not a bug, just user error.
You've got high rank mats trying to craft low rank weapon or reverse. You need to hunt low rank monsters for low rank parts, high rank parts do not count.
1) asleep
2) at work
Or
3) noticed they were actually on the wrong rank and got what they needed without updating this post
