if you can imagine dragon age veilguard, if you tried to make a mod to remove a certain controversial character, you can expect to be nuked.

I don't so much care about accusing them of being "woke" but i've seen some very obvious double standards when it comes to some mods being removed from the website

For example: for cyberpunk 2077 there was a mod to make Judy romanceable by male characters (she's usually only romanceable by female characters)

This mod was immediately banned and removed from the site

Yet the mod to let female characters romance Panam (she's usually only romanceable by male characters) is allowed to stay up.. that's just a bs double standard to me

There's also been mods to mod donald trump into games, or maga hats ect.. kinda cringe but should but allowed imo, but they were removed, yet mods adding in joe biden and democrat slogans are allowed to stay up

Just 2 examples off the top of my head, there's also been many other times where mods will race swap characters from white to black, and this is fine, but doing the opposite is immediately banned.. however i've heard that this can often be due to people inappropriately wording the mods as "fixed" so i'm not confident enough to use that as an example

No, Nexus has a known history of censoring mods that dont agree with the site hoster's ideologies. It's just that no other site has the same proper front end on why it's still used.

Nexus mods has the most hypocrite admins ever, they ruined their reputation and the only reason they exist is because they hold a sort of monopoly on the mod "market".
They don't allow skin change on the characters so they usually ban the mod or the user
They don't allow politics and the result is the same.
But.
If the mods appen to ADD politics then it's fine, so if you add a pride flag where is not supposed to be nothing happens, if you remove it then you get banned.
If you make a white character into black nothing happens, if you make a black or even hispanic character into white then you get banned and called bigot, nazi or whatever.
Their double standard is sickening and vomit inducing, either you allow all or remove all.

Yeah i noticed that alot of times aswell (that the mod they're talking of is still there).
At this point, i just assume the Mod author said something and/or made something stupid into the mod so it got yeeted.

Yes, censorship, because people get banned for replacing the pride falg in spider man with the american flag, or starfield where someone removed the pronouns selection.
Both creators had all their accounts and mods removed and banned.
So yes.
