Artian weapons

-cancerous RNG straight outta rise that cannot be influenced (unless modded/ workarounds)

-same tired table randomization system from DD1 bitterblack island / mh rise that tries to prevent you from saving and loading to get a different set of stats but can still be tediously gamified

-them being ugly isn't important.

-world did weapon upgrades / augments better. (kjarr / safi weapons).

such rigid RNG doesn't make an endgame grind fun it only makes it longer for no reason and when it can instead allow players to influence their builds and play around with different stats for the weapons they grind instead of chasing the meta and stop there.

Edit: the number of videos about how to work around the system shows that it's a boring farm loop that many people would rather skip.

if you have any skill you can kill any tempered monster and be drowning in parts. once you have a ton of parts there is no rng, just build what you want. its fantastic

the only thing I want is to change the color of the weapons.

the RNG comes when you start reinforcing the weapons you get after creating them

It's still better RNG than the charm lottery in Rise which was quite literally powerball mega-millions odds.

that's why i felt the need to talk about it because i think we're headed there with wilds and i rly wish i turn out to be wrong and they bring back the world systems or better ones

I for one will likely never bother with Artian.

Will they be BiS? maybe in some cases. But I'd rather take the hit in dps than to use these god awful looking weapons. The whole RNG reinforcement thing is also pretty off putting.

So as long as they don't somehow force us to use it to do hunts in a reasonable time, I'm fine just not bothering with them

It gives the try hards something to do, but i have plenty of regular rarity 8 weapons to collect and use. BTW i think artian looks cool.
