Map in novice mode ?

Once you reach a certain point in the game, you unlock the expert mode and it seems the maps are default to expert mode then. You sure can do novice big mobs through free quest but... what about smalls monsters ? An amulet of interest requires some drake wing skin (dunno the english name) which is from a novice small monster, but when I go to them they're expert, giving me the wrong item +.

Sorry if the question is stupid, but really I found nowhere where to deal with that problem.

Go into your optional quests and there will be a quest for most of the small monsters. If not you can do the low ranked optional quest and be in the low rank world

It's working, thanks, but it's a bit of a weird workaround you basically have to launch a novice quest to farm some other novice stuff such as a small monster not having an optional quest or minerals. Weird, was a toggle that complicated to code ?
