MHWilds on my PC flips my circuit breaker
Hello, I had played roughly 12 hrs of MHWilds on my 2 yr old PC with no issues, but as of yesterday as I entered high rank it has been impossible to run the game for more than 2 minutes. The circuit breaker in my room flips once I load the game despite unplugging all other appliances in the same room. I do not have this issue with any other games and am not PC savvy, so if anyone has insights on what is happening/how to fix it I would greatly appreciate it :)

Thank you all

You just have too many things plugged into that particular circuit then. Are you running an AC or something from it? unplug your PC or whatever major power draw item you have plugged into the same wall and plug it into a different wall. extension cable may be required. otherwise see an electrician. this isn't your PC's or MH's fault

Well this is accurate, the game being more intense could be increasing rhe PC power draw, thus pushing the "request" higher for power.

My advice is is the same, move some stuff to other plugs off circuit, unplug any other running devices like fans, other computers, even things that are "off" sit in a constant state of minor consumption sometimes.

We've reached peak schizophrenia in the MH Wilds forums. MH Wilds is literally having a negative effect on this mans electric grid so RIse and World can break in downstairs to steal the Couch and Television.
Nah if the wiring is done poorly a PC can flip the breaker

if a 500-600 watt PC is causing your breakers to flip , it's more then "poorly done wiring".

that's 5 amps at 110v or 2,5 at 220v ... what is he running 28Ga wire ? ... normal wiring is 14/2 or 12/2 even 18/2 could easily handle that load and shouldn't cause any issues.

i would first change the breaker or run the PC off another group on a different breaker to see if it does the same , if it still does it there's more going on and you need an electrician to come check it out.

I have a similar problem. I have a high-functioning PC and I am able to run MH Wilds on the monitor all day with no problems. However, when I try to take an HDMI cord and plug it into a TV in the other room it trips the PC room's circuit breaker after a few minutes. I got a new HDMI cord to test if that was the issue and it still happens.
Honestly it sounds like you need an electrician.

For anyone that thinks this is impossible, purchase an in line multi-meter and plug your PC into it. You will see power draw from your circuit fluctuate between 100 and 1000 watts depending on load. It's a thing.

OP has some bad wiring.
Just found this thread. Are you still having this issue after update 1?

I’m experiencing the same problems and had an electrician over, they switched out my outlets but it was still happening. Have not tried yet with the new update.
