What else can I do? this game is completely unoptimised. I suppose I could try native but I don’t want 40fps

u cud try native and just run mfg and pray the latency isnt that noticeable
Apparently native doesn’t fix it. I’ll run it on native later and see but not looking good

I have troubleshooted a similar case just this morning... share a DxDiag report and screenshots and we can take a look.
Try FSR quality with sharpness maxed, for me at least it seems to look less blurry.

I eventually added DLSS 4 file and swapped to 4k with DLSS and framegen. Not ideal I know but the input lag is almost non existent and got 70 to 80 fps most of the time (RTX 4070S)

DLSS4 looks a little clearer. RE engine seems to look blurry at 1440P native even without DLSS though, Dragons dogma 2 was the same...
DLSS to Quality. and Enable DSR on Nvidia panel, choose higher screen resolution (4k) on ingame settings, and Disable Depth of Field ?

that is extremely performance expensive even if u choose to use dldsr (slightly more efficient than the normal dsr)

That’s not ideal I’m running a 1440p monitor and running the game in 4K is going to mess up my performance. I can’t use frame gen to compensate because it’s bugged and causes crashes if enabled

Nvidia game filter Sharpen+
go into the nvidia app and set dlss to "latest" for mh wilds, that'll clear up your image quality
Use Preset K, turn off bloom - vignette - field of view Thank me later you can continue use DLSS Quality
