alternatively, yeah, play solo or only join quests so you won't lose anything.
Seriously, though, it IS easier solo than coop. Monsters have less hp, stagger easier, take ailments and staggers faster, cut tails faster ect on top of generally being more predictable.
Having randoms in your squad is risking 3 carts. Just how it is.
And before others call skill issue, sometimes its hard to directionally block and sometimes monsters swipe past the shield. Damage happens, but most often for me its when I try to reload.
I do think they should one day redesign the cart system to make it player based instead, if you faint 2-3 times on multiplayer you get a "full faint/coma" and can't contribute anymore, no rewards for you but there still is for surviving teammates, monster health could remained scaled up so there's still consequences for failure and bad teamplay, but who knows if this would still make it too easy or not.
nono everyone should carry that ♥♥♥♥ and pay attention, bad lucks happen to the best of us. ;o;
I'm not asking for help nor grouping up, R-tard. People randomly join hunts I'm on and they are so ass they die until I fail. I had three people join, they all died almost immediately to a Tempered Arkveild and then the exact second one of them got back to the fight, they died AGAIN and ~I~ failed the mission
BTW, solo just means nobody else is in the squad. If its just you and your cat, the monster is at its weakest, and each player (and presumably support hunter, but I dont know for sure) increases the monsters stats. When World finished, it had three scaling levels; 1, 2 and 4 hunters. It started off with 1 and 4 hunter, where playing with 2 or 3 hunters over 1 or 4 was actively making the game super hard but obviously, that was dumb so they changed it.
Talk to Alma > Post/Join Quest > Settings > Set max members to 1 or set passcode.
I have to say that the way capcom made quests automatically joinable by randoms is kind of dumb.
Don't need to do any of this you can simply set it so when you set off a SOS that only NPC players will show up its literally in the same settings if you play online Single Player no randoms should be showing up in your game unless you want them to
