Tower of Babylon?
Anyone else notice that the ruins of Wyveria represents the tower of Babylon? And the symbolism in the stories line up too.

LMAO are you high, a troll or just straight up just ignorant? Do you even know what the mythos of the tower of babel even says? It's about a unified humanity that speaks a singular language building a tower to reach heaven. Then god to prevent that from happening made all the different languages so they could no longer understand each other and forced them to abandon the tower.

Where is that in the story of Wilds?

Yeah, I think this is a reach. Wyveria fell because they played god and nature lashed out, and when their technology was needed the most it turned against them. They didn't build a tower to reach god.

I get that, but I'm saying there is shared symbolism in that the Ruins are a ruined tower that they built. And that they are a civilization who's hubris brought them to ruin, which is what the themes of the tower of babylon kind of point out.

I'm actually more curious about what threat existed that they felt the need to create the guardian monsters in the first place. I don't know anything about monster hunter lore but being that they had the need to create a powerful guardian from what exactly was it to protect them from.

It'd have to be either different nations, which may be unlikely cause we basically never here about in fighting amongst the nations in monster hunter, or dangerous dragons like fatalis.
