almost 80 celsius GPU and 90% usage of my CPU... PC specs below
Intel Core i7-8700K
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080
16 GB RAM

my pc sound like a airplane does any know what the best settings are to keep my celsius as low as possible. for example at the beginning of playing Path of exile 2 my graphics card runs at or over 80 celsius.. after change some settings it never came near 62 celsius. would be nice if anyone help me out.

PS dont even think about to trash talk in comments like buy new pc or some ♥♥♥♥

least the game is "free" with the 7800xt, would've upgraded more parts if the cpu/mobo/ram prices weren't daunting.

i somewhat wonder what if i got a 4070 instead, the amount of troubles swapping to amd were a lot.

forgot to add, 850 psu from nzxt
Hmm, I'm actually very satisfied with how my AMD RX 9070 XT performs in MH Wilds.
I maxxed out everything including Raytracing and still got over 60FPS in 1440p.
However, in order to reduce the terrible microstuttering I had to bite the bullet and go down to 1080p. But I don't think an NVidia card at the same performance level would perform much better.
It's just an all out terrible port no matter what hardware you run.
i too had the microstutter issue after installing my 9070xt today. I was able to remove it by uninstalling the high res texture pack. idk if you are using that but even with 16gb vram is still had them, high didn't give me any issues at 1440p

I am by no means defending the integrity of this port, but my 14900K/4080 Super is hovering around 90-100FPS @ 4K Ultra with no crashes or issues beyond that. Hardware can outrun a poor port, but at the same time with how this game looks, I'd expect much better performance and people should not be struggling with current generation $1k+ systems.

Add ReFramework mod and update DirectStorage dlls to latest version, that improves the stuffer for high res textures.

Okay you listed the specs of your gpu/cpu and ram but like whats your cooler ? are you cooling it well ?
Cuz high temp is not reallly relevant to the cpu/gpu its about properly ventliating your system

limit your FPS dont let it go too hihg

eitherway that temp is fine pcs are equipped to not go over a certain temp and pc gamers needs to let go of the temp anxiety

I got a lot of driver problems at the start when i swapped cards, I was certain everything was fine for the dddu in safe mode.

amd adrenaline was confusing, now it's turning most of it off and use vsr for 1440p onto a 1080p monitor to mitigate the bottleneck.

I'm lacking resources on how to mitigate the bottleneck, it's the best I've got for now as it is really prevalent in older games while I wait to upgrade the rest of the parts.

If there's a setting to reduce cpu load, I'd reduce it, but none of the settings seem to affect it so, it's in a case where I might have to make my gpu work harder to mitigate the issue as I'm barely using 25% of the vram the 7800xt has.

Either wait for Capcum to divert a little more funding from their 80 million sold copies to patching and optimizing the game, or figure out what's the most common computer components people who have no issues are using and buy those.

Regardless of what else people say on the matter. The game is horribly optimized for PC. My rig keeps black screening and it's using 100% of the gpu. Probs gonna have to wait for the first title update for ths more noticeable improvements.

This isn't about Wilds it's about the guys poor PC cooling. Even a properly optimized game can still use 100% GPU and CPU, it's just getting more than 60FPS in the process.

Wait for Capcom to optimize their console port, haha good one, man.

Wait, you're serious?

Oh, this here is a case where both sides have an issue.

His PC is an old junk with dried out paste and clogged vents AND this game is an atrocious console port with Capcom not bothering with basic stuff like shipping with up to date DirectStorage or fixing their crappy in-house DRM, something a random bloke from the internet literally did in a mod a day after the game launched.

Luckily I was able to shoot a used R7 5800x3D to replace my previous R5 5600x. The 5800x3D seems to be a pretty nice match for the RX 9070 XT.

When it comes to the AMD drivers - I'm very happy with how it all works. Some things work better with the Radeon card, some did work better with the NVidia card. Overall the AMD drivers are on par at the very least.
Also, the Adrenaline driver is a hell of a lot more convenient with a ton of options, build in overclocking - even per game overclocking which is pretty awesome.
The image sharpener looks far better than NVidia's and VSR is miles ahead of DSR.
I won't be going back to NVidia any time soon.

True! Not a problem on a technical level but possibly room for improvement if OP is bothered by the fan noise.

I play on my gaming laptop and it runs hot around 90c to 95c but keeping the bottom vented.
I can play it on the lowest of low settings and it would run at around 80c.
Not sure why this game runs so hot while Final Fantasy Rebirth on highest settings runs cooler but my laptop can handle the temps.
