game to boring ? thats a you problem

here is simply why .. im now starting to see people say this

*example* eey guys im gonna post on this random platform to let you all know ( steam or twitter ) that i have played 150 hours .. but trust me the game is boring ive completed olmoost everything and barely anything to do .. trust me its the game and not me playing 10 hours a day for the past 2 weeks...

and before your gonna say .. but but but making excuses ive played now 190 hours into the game and i can tell you i have yet to not enjoy it.

normally you buy a 70$ game and get 50 hours of entertainment.. people get triple that amount and there still not satisfied and the title updates arent even out yet let alone the expansion its a crazy thing to say you didnt enjoy it.

if your this far into the game make goals for yourself like.. what do i wanna do before expansion comes next year here are some examples

1: have fun with your friends just screw monsters up together
2: make all armor talismans and all weapons of the 14 weapons
3: get all achievements and maybe the fish goldcrowns aswell for fun
4: help people out with there hunts maybe join the gathering hall discord jump on voice chat and have fun hunting and helping random players
5: collect ALOT of items like flashpods / traps / health / max potions / dash juice to prepare for the future expansion so you dont need to grind the items for a loooong time
6: kill low rank and high rank ( or just high rank ) 100 times of each monster
7: try and master all 14 weapons switch it around to try out stuff
8: fashion hunter true endgame
9: capture all edimic life atleast once

and ofcourse leave message below what you could also recommend people coming to this thread what i missed they can do in the game

the end in the game is only your imagination what you allow yourself to be the end

did you play 100-200 hours and you think your done ? great you got what you payed for there are plenty of other games to play untill title updates MH doesnt need to be your only game to play.

PS: this thread is not to hate on the people saying this .. im just saying either set yourself goals in the game to keep you engaged or just play another game till the title updates if you got 10-15 hours a day to play a game do not expect only 1 game to keep you entertaint forever.

I bought this game to keep myself busy until one of 2 things happens.
A: I hit my usual hard wall of hub 7 * (which I never get past in any MH Game T-T)
B: I Get distracted By Xenoblade Chronicles X DE Next Week when it comes out.
I will still probably continue to play even if I dump a ton of hours into it.
That Being Said I would like to make some friends to reliably buddy up with and hunt with on the regular. I main hunting horn and hunting horn feels weird playing just a single hunter.

Either way I will probably get more than my moneys worth out of this game, 60 bones for 100+ Hours is a steal even if I get hard walled at 7 * Hub

I've been meaning to replay it but I've been holding out hope for a switch port. Which thank god it finally happened and isn't deadlocked on Wii U anymore. I want my revenge on the final boss that I never beat lol I went in to a point of no return part of the game (I didn't know it was one of THOSE final bosses until too late) both underleveled and undergeared T-T

That being said I'm still going to play Wilds while I'm chipping away at Xenoblade, both of these games are nice and meaty. Xenoblade games will keep you busy for around 100 hours minimum. If you own a switch you should consider grabbing it too. :3

40 hours is super reasonable for your average game but is not a typical time I'd expect to spend on a monster hunter game, even at launch. I typically log 200+ hours clearing quests, doing arena, optional content, building sets, playing all weapons and making new with builds but Wilds just doesn't have what I typically enjoyed from previous titles. I want to feel challenged but felt very little difficulty this time around.

The armor sets/deco system are so limited that there is hardly anything I wanted to craft outside of fashion- so I restarted Rise for my MH fix and have been loving it.

I'm glad others are able to enjoy Wilds and are having a good experience! I just wish I found it more enjoyable.

And I agree, games are not meant to last forever with infinite content. Gamers have been unreasonable in most cases with their constant demands for new content, especially in cases where they pay $15 for an indie title that receives 3 years of free updates then still complain that content doesn't come out fast enough. Go play something else and stop harassing the poor devs..

Game is boring and I have only played 10.5 hours. I have been through many new hyped game releases, its always the same blind fanboys in the honeymoon phase ignoring all logic to defend their new bride, we will see some real talks about how trash this game is after the casuals get done with story mode and go away.

thats why different genre are out there

shooters
adventure
mmorpgs
gacha's
sandbox
fight
etc etc

for what you didnt enjoy i did and for what i did enjoy someone might enjoy it even more and someone might have disliked it so much they didnt even bother buying it in the first place
