[Long Sword] Which attacks can('t) you counter
After winging it for quite some time I decided to look up a guide and it seems that the only thing that I missed with the Long Sword were the counters. So, that's what I'm practicing, now.

I'm wondering, though, which attacks I can and cannot counter.
I'd presume that counters only work for physical attacks and not stuff like "breath attacks" (from any end of the monster) or elemental AOE attacks?

you can counter anything that doesnt have lingering hitbox. Even roars. Doesnt matter if its elemental or physical (most "elemental" attacks do big portion of raw damage as well anyway)
