That doesnt mean if that person who hosted that quest, joins your quest is able to to do the same, cause they cannot.
So once again, this only affects the people in the hosts quests. Not the cheater joining you.
Look, I do enjoy modding myself. I use mods in Fallout 4, Mech Warrior 5 and Starfield. But, when it comes to Monster Hunter, I do make an acception with ultrawide mods. I have a few friends that has 32:9 and the black borders are annoying - there are also mods to stop screen border burn-ins. But since modders created cheats, then they get swamped into the cheater's pool too. See what I am getting at? We cannot differentiate both. We can't... Another one is Reshade, that is harmless and it makes the game even more beautiful. HOWEVER, with cheaters running around like a whale and mods thinks cheating is funny and hilarious, then I was forced to put mods with cheaters too. Look at NEXUS, it's full cheats for Wilds! Even on Youtube!!
P.S. I am sorry. But I am really tired of this bs. I want to do my fight for the console players. They are the ones getting hit harder than PC players. Also, the modders who created the cheat shouldn't have created them in the first place. It's now an issue world-wide. Capcom doesn't care either.
Second, it's annoying to black list players in-game. I can block. However, most of the time, I am backing up my save more than playing.
"I've felt that pain before and can't blame them for needing a UW mod. black borders make the game super tiny and the UI almost impossible to see.."

"I don't think all modder's are fully a exempt from being called cheaters, but taking it out on everyone who are legit with using only visual mods/or non cheat mods (which you fully can't tell still shouldn't be including into cheaters categories."

"I don't fully agree with putting mods with cheating cause, cheating your altering code to help you obtain a abusive power but I don't support every modder's decision either due. I do however agruee I don't enjoy cheaters using speffic mods/cheats abusing mods like changing how weapons work/ changing modifiers to weapon damages or extra rewards and abusing slot skills, considering I don't want to see someone doing like more DMG then me if there a lower hunter rank?.. or have a armor immediately at there lower HR after one kill of a boss fight that i should've had well before them while grinding for that monster (minding the HR)"
So you're a cheater?
What's surprising is I enter random lobbies all the time and I never noticed.
You simply pay attention to the rewards of a quest. You can easely avoid it that way.
Ah I see. Wait, does this affect joining random SOS? Cus that sounds lame to encounter.
This was even a thing on consoles since Tri. They stopped banning ram hacks such as actionreplay because it just aint feasable or needed cause players themselfs have control over this stuff.
If said cheater joins your SOS, it wont affect anyone. Only his posted quest.
