mixed reviews is mind blowing

as horrible as this game runs and looks you'd expect an overhlmingly negative review score, but 60% of users are okay with the sheer incompetence of this release and being lied to

if this was an Assassins Creed game it would've been review bombed into oblivion but since this is MH and Capcom it gets a pass

.. how much of a blind fanboy you gotta be to accept this kind of crap? I'm a MH fanboy myself and I find this unnacceptable and no way in hell will I give this game a positive review until and IF it the game ever gets fixed.

"runs horribly" and still gives it a thumbs up

wtf ? if this was any other game you wouldn't see a single positive rating, wtf is going on with these people leaving these dumb reviews and giving this game a fake review score

define fine, what exactly is fine to you ?

post what resolution you're playing at, what framerate, game settings, and if you have framegen on or off

58-71 FPS with no big drops in between. Outside of zone changes and weather changes which tank a bit.
1920x1080, mostly medium to high (textures at high) with effects lowered as they are the most damaging to stable framerate, as I get about 60fps baseline framegen input delay ain't bad, but the performance shown is without it, with it I hit 80 bit have occasional texturing errors.

Important V-sync is on and limit at 80fps even if I never hit it, fixed a minor issue during cutscenes or while using framegen.

This is 1440p, with DLDSR 1.78x on, DLSS Quality on a 4070ti with 32gb ddr4 and a 5600x.
This is all pretty average gear.

Performance is about a 7/10 on this game, however, I would not get any additional enjoyment even from running the game at even twice the FPS I am running it now. I also would not get more enjoyment from that frametime getting smoothed out.

Some people have different priorities, like, you know, the game being fun. Content would check these people's needs much better. Also, you know, probably 80% of the playerbase of this game is on console, and content benefits them too. Optimization fixes would only really benefit a small percentage of only the PC playerbase.

Maybe my standards are low, but you know, am thoroughly enjoying the game. :P

I don't get why people wanna fight people who like the game so much.

I also want to add another thing: Game went from 44% to 62% over the past two weeks. Could it be that people who had negative things to say had incentive to say it, and did so within the first few hours of gameplay, and people who would review the game positively are doing so over time as they complete content and have much less incentive to do it ?

Also, game got review bombed hard. Congratulations to people like you for making steam reviews and steam forums an absolute meme. You made it so the average gamer doesn't give a F* about these, you open them and it's just people emotionally screeching at performance while am satisfied by it and everyone around me also is. x_x

I am playing the game on a cheap laptop. Buttersmooth, no technical issues, great game through and through. Best buy in years!
