Multiplayer monsters need MUCH more HP...
So, I usually just create online singleplayer lobby and from there I respond to SOS flares to all kinds of monster to help people and myself to collect some materials, but whenever I join somebody, the fights usually take like 5-8 minutes, even if there is that the lobby has been created 1min ago, the fight will just end within 5 minutes usually.

During some extreme cases, there are like 2/4 people in the game, the lobby was created 2min ago so I join and when I come to the monster, the monster already has the skull symbol above it so all I do is just place trap and capture it and the fight took like 4 minutes total without me doing anything.

I understand that they wanted to make it shorter because in World the hunts were crazy long, but I think that the HP of the monster should increase DRAMATICALLY during multiplayer games because it's just not even fun. The elder dragons and the apex predators are a bit more fun because the HP is much higher, but pretty much every single other monster is just too short.

For anyone who is going to say "just play solo", it's boring bro, I want to play with people because it's more fun, especially if you meet someone with no hands who are able to cart twice within 3 minutes.

Monsters in base world had NO health. They were wet paper. Monsters didn't get actual hp until events and iceborne. Wilds creatures have a lot more then base world, less then iceborne(because its not master rank).

no, last i play it the same short as this, as matter of fact it easier sub 5 in world with ta wiki uwu than here

They were definitely longer than they are in Wilds, that is for sure. I definitely think the monsters need more health, in solo and MP in Wilds.

I can run a hunt, totally non-optimised, not using any buff items, traps, etc and still get sub 5 minute clear times solo. I could never manage that consistently in World except against the lower tier monsters within each low, high or master rank (depending on where I was in the story). Even in Rise, which is probably peak 'hunter power' due to wirebugs and silk skills, I still feel like the monsters had a lot more health.

In Wilds, I feel like I'm dropping the monsters way too fast. I've joined hunts that have been active for 4 or 5 minutes against a tempered apex monster, only for the monster to be finished as a hit the ground and it's straight to the rewards screen. In World, that just didn't happen unless you had an organised team running good builds, coordinating their actions etc.

early April they got a new difficult level coming
LOL yes... they all feel like paper especially with 4 hunter keeps on destroying wound... they stagger to no end... even the apex and tempered one

I have been running into the same problem, whenever I SOS flare at the start of the hunt by the time someone joins the monster is already close to dying. In world even with the lower player count (which meant response times were slower) I didn't really experience this. And I don't even have a proper build or artian weapons lol, its on;y going to get worse. Multi monster hunts could alleviate the issue a little (not exactly sure if those exist anymore outside of event/optional quests) but ultimately, that thing they mentioned about a "difficulty above tempered" that was coming in the update is sorely needed.

Yeah unless the hunt just started the fights will be disappointing. I've joined some sos's where not even a minute in the monster was weak and then the guy threw down the purple smoke of funs over and captured it.

Its actually insane, I love playing multiplayer in MH games but holy ♥♥♥♥ bro I swear every other match the monster is literally STUNLOCKED 80% of the fight from wounds and it just getting flinched/staggered

It actually makes the fights so uninteresting
Yes they've made the game easier because they want everyone to buy their next dlc expansion.

This community is an open air copium mine.
I did a sos hunt against a gore, and 2 people carted really quickly, gore takes out 60% or more health on some of his hits. We started to all pull out our traps to not risk another cart.

Responding to sos quests is some of the most fun i have honestly.

I hunted 10 Gores and so far I am done with that thing, I just can't see sh** and it keeps jumping around and I am basically running after it 80% of the fight, especially when there are bow and bowgun users.
I totally agree, problem its aswell that all the people just go full crit with artian weapons (u wont see a single player using the artian armor and its a good all around armor) and paralisis and its not fun at all , theres so many armors and weapons i personally loving the armors that u get with the trade material like the kunafa and azuz, with these armors and rarity 6 or 7 weapons i get mi 10/15 min hunts, way funnier to play this way, the monster actually gets to fight back.
For example i got a build that uses kunafa armor only and divine blessing of the winds talisman with a bone 6 glaive and the doshaguma 6 Hunting horn i get two or one shotted by tempered doshaguma if i dont keep up defense L and sonic barrier i got another build with the azuz armor only so 3 pieces of armor only but its comes with heroics and maximum might with these armor its really easy to activate heroics and its a fun challenge.

They actually were, especially the solo ones, usually for me even the base World monsters took around 15-20 minutes, whereas in this game it's most of the time under 10 minutes. Which wouldn't really be a problem, but with this wound mechanic, the monsters have no chance of surviving more than 5 minutes when there are 4 hunters around. I have been hunting ONLY tempered monsters and hit the 50 tempered monsters achievement like 2 hours ago and even the tempered ones are just super easy to kill.

Like I said, only the apex predators are taking quite a long time to kill which is a bit sad that the lower tier monsters (even if just by one star) are so much easier, they aren't even hard in terms of difficulty so it's just mashing simulator for like 3-4 minutes straight until the monster starts limping and then you just follow it, capture it and there you go, hunt done without any difficulties.
