why only bots join when i use sos signal?

in your SOS settings there is an option for who joins, you can set it to bot only(supporters? i think they're called), players only, or both.

make sure its not set to bot only, but if its on both, bots will join until players join, if no players join, you only get bots

you are either in offline mode or you have to change the settings from bot hunters to real players

If your mission isn't an invesigation with Artian weapon parts an/or higher level decos then it's not interesting to the most motivated folks and the rest are too passive to join obviously

I only play with the NPC's cause I really do not want to even attempt interacting with others in this game.

Now that the first week is over and 90% of people are farming tempered, you're probably not going to see anyone unless it's an investigation with decent rewards.

it was not like this in the previous monster hunter series..everyone's just dead set on min maxing and all profit based

I mean i feel like MH is one of the best franchises to play multiplayer if you have an aversion to playing online. 9 times out of 10 people will join, say nothing, help you kill the monster and when its over poof they are gone. Very introvert friendly.

no it wasnt. i had absolutely plenty of ppl joining on my low rank story missions.
