If you captured monster its already count toward Hunted
Example: Hunted 2 : Captured 1 = You Slayed 1 and Captured 1 = Hunted 2
Captured is already counted toward Hunted, so you don't plus them together.
For the trophy, only count on the Hunted numbers.
I recommend you talk first with people about it - otherwise it is you who is the bad guy.

Look on example on Hunting & Questing on "Top of the Food Chain" trophy.
It also explained here.
I already got the trophy.
This Example: Hunted 6 : Captured 4 = Slayed 2 and Captured 4 = Hunted 6
How do you even do that, it only takes like 3sec to capture.
You have to realize first that they want to do that and then go into menus and kick the player.
I think you are only raging about it but 95% of the time you won’t kick anyone.
Ok the wording in the guide makes a lot more sense.
Cry about it OP
Tbh, isn't it OP's fault? Like playing Monster Hunter, the general knowledge for so long, is that Capture > Kill, with less time wasted and better reward. So random players doing Co-Op with you, it's normal for many of them to capture the monster instead.
Again if you don't like it, then just don't do Co-op, right?
Expecting random strangers online to do exactly what you want (in this game where communication is quite limited), it's just straight up delulu, sorry!
Capture counts as Hunted, the difference is Capture= Extra Guild Points.
Your comment would make sense if you bothered to learn Tasheen gave a capture buff and the people from everforge gave a carving buff. They're essentially different.
Capturing also does not grant more rewards that killing.the monster, unlike in World. Capturing is faster, while slaying gives you more time to break more parts for more drops or make one final push to sever the tail or tentacles. Either is fine. There are food buffs that will grant you more rewards for one or the other, notably the carving pro food buff will grant you additional carves on *everything* including the tail so that buff's particularly nice. If you have such a food buff going, I suggest using an emote to let your team know what you want to do for this hunt.
It's not a big deal in any case. You're only slowing down your own grinding by behaving like that, OP.
