I kick people who try to capture monsters.
It's pretty annoying when I'm grinding for titles and someone captures. Captures don't count towards the titles, hunts do. Please don't just randomly capture monsters in other peoples quests.

womp womp
its because the rewards are larger for captures, thats their line of thinking anyways. hunts should provide more materials as it takes more effort to kill than capture. but hey what do i know, im not a game dev.

Hunted = Slayed/Captured
If you captured monster its already count toward Hunted

Example: Hunted 2 : Captured 1 = You Slayed 1 and Captured 1 = Hunted 2
Captured is already counted toward Hunted, so you don't plus them together.
For the trophy, only count on the Hunted numbers.

I recommend you talk first with people about it - otherwise it is you who is the bad guy.

Look on example on Hunting & Questing on "Top of the Food Chain" trophy.
It also explained here.
I already got the trophy.

This Example: Hunted 6 : Captured 4 = Slayed 2 and Captured 4 = Hunted 6

How do you even do that, it only takes like 3sec to capture.

You have to realize first that they want to do that and then go into menus and kick the player.

I think you are only raging about it but 95% of the time you won’t kick anyone.

Just use the AI Bots... they don't split your money reward and the monster's HP isn't really increased.

Ok the wording in the guide makes a lot more sense.

womp womp. who asked?
I go into people's games and capture monsters

Cry about it OP :lunar2019crylaughingpig: i sure hope i never play with you because if i do its insta block/report for being toxic
Isn't the solution is to hunt solo? Isn't there a Single Player or Private session option each time you start the game?
Tbh, isn't it OP's fault? Like playing Monster Hunter, the general knowledge for so long, is that Capture > Kill, with less time wasted and better reward. So random players doing Co-Op with you, it's normal for many of them to capture the monster instead.
Again if you don't like it, then just don't do Co-op, right?

Expecting random strangers online to do exactly what you want (in this game where communication is quite limited), it's just straight up delulu, sorry!

Fair enough. Capcom gives the tools to allow you to kick people during a Hunt. If this is what you would want to do, then by all means.

if intelligence was a diamond, you def would be a rock.

Capture counts as Hunted, the difference is Capture= Extra Guild Points.

Your comment would make sense if you bothered to learn Tasheen gave a capture buff and the people from everforge gave a carving buff. They're essentially different.

You are incorrect, OP. The game uses the term "hunt" to mean either capture or kill. Only when it says "slay" does it specify killing. You are seeing the number after "hunt" and thinking that means how many you killed because the number next ot it is "captured", but the number on the left will always be higher than the number on the right because hunts = slays + captures. This has been tested before, the achievements and the titles are achievable with purely capturing.

Capturing also does not grant more rewards that killing.the monster, unlike in World. Capturing is faster, while slaying gives you more time to break more parts for more drops or make one final push to sever the tail or tentacles. Either is fine. There are food buffs that will grant you more rewards for one or the other, notably the carving pro food buff will grant you additional carves on *everything* including the tail so that buff's particularly nice. If you have such a food buff going, I suggest using an emote to let your team know what you want to do for this hunt.

It's not a big deal in any case. You're only slowing down your own grinding by behaving like that, OP.
