Is it just me or is it wierd that they are introducing Mizu in a title update rather than in the base game?

Mizu is a pretty easy monster, so its strange that we would fight him after gore and arkveld.
REALLY hope they just turbo buff him bc I want to be able to farm monsters other tempered gore/arkveld.

It's sad, but they could still use the snake wyvern skeleton. They could simply make a very snake like leviathan and you'd have a snake wyvern in all but name. Actually... I dare even say that leviathans have replaced more than just snake wyverns. I'd argue piscine wyverns too.

Yep. Mizu should at the bare minimum be at the same level as the apexes. Speaking of, I wonder how the turf war between him and Uth Duna is gonna be like...

Bubble blight is a really fun status, and I got used to it in Rise and Sunbreak. I love just sliding around everywhere.

I think I need to give more credit where credit is due though.

MH is more of a speedrunner and fashion game than it is a "here is a wall for you to overcome" type challenge game.

Which I may be slowly realizing isn't really my jam.

I want walls.

You definitely get walls if you play the old games solo.
The problem is now you can't even get walls if you play solo.

As someone who has played all g rank expansions freedom unite-rise single player in the past 4 years no they really don’t

Freedom unite had double black diablos in g rank that I made a bowgun set for as a wall
3u had no walls
4u had no walls
GenU had no walls
World had no walls

Where are all the walls? In mh1 and dos?

Did each game have challenging monsters as post game optional content? Sure. Walls that impede you unless broken through? No

Fu had the various fatalis g rank variants(even though fatalis is boring in fu just hp sponge)
3u had abyssal lagiacrus(swimming sucks) and hallowed gen Moran(brutal timer)
4u had all the level 140 stuff
GenU has the deviants and all the big boss monsters from the other games only missing a couple.
World had arch tempereds, siege bosses, and black dragons
Rise had the level 300 special investigations

bubble status was in rise too.

I really hope they bring back the old bubble animation from GU. it was so funny. Our hunter would slip and slide around like a tom and jerry character.

As a solo player they have walls lol. For average gamers. I'm not the best gamer in the world and I can tell you that I triple carted to a kecha wacha solo in high rank.

triple carted brachydios duo. Triple carted to the angry pickle/deviljho.

Even watching max play the game they are triple carting every once in a while in high rank.

Your average player will triple cart in the old games, but likely wont' cart at all in the new games.

But in wilds I rarely carted at all solo.

There is some perpective to it. I'm like a diamond player (still above avg) in Marvel Rivals. In perspective you'd probably be like a grandmaster. Maybe nothing would ever be challenging to you.

I think you dudes don't realize that you are just really good at games and maybe can't recognize that the old games at least gave resistance and now there just isn't any resistance period.

Quite frankly you come off as extremely arrogant. Yeah yeah yeah I get it you didn't die but that doesn't mean the games aren't easier now.

only just now learning this but yeah hopefully he gets buffed significantly, otherwise the fight will be inconsequential. also his sets have never been anything to write home about

Uhuh, The only reason that is because you're so used to the ultimate editions cause usually the japanese only have had the base games with the etxepption of X Tri and MH1 and the two freedom games.... :v
