Why do people get mad when DPS is posted?

Not everyone has a DPS build. It's perfectly acceptable to have low DPS, but getting upset over that is petty and immature.

Edit2: Insulting someone for having low DPS is completely unacceptable. That is not what this post is about. I was talking about POSTING damage numbers, not being an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about them. Major difference.

Because is pointless on MH. Every weapon has his utility and way to be used, if you watch only the damages to wank of on datas, you're like the ones on every pvp games that stick on stats instead of playing the game for his purpouse "GNEE I DID MORE GNEEE GNEE" but ignoring all the rest. When i play with my blast build with explosive horn i open a lot of wounds, stunning and even damages, but mines are not like the longsword or dual blades. So what's the point on posting dps meter?

Pretty sure it was coined in/for MMOs regardless of where its used now. Very unimportant either way lol.

If you have time to post your "DPS." You have time to learn the monster patterns and stop getting carted like a total scrub.
