Is 43 the HR cap?

Im trying to google for how to get past 43 without any assignments but nothing is coming up.

im 81 HR im not exactly sure the exact mission or side mission but at some point you are able to advance to the higher ranks

gotta keep doing the main story to level up HR. Sometimes, you need to level your HR to progress in the main story.

You'll need to keep playing through the story. Thankfully, once the cap is removed you will receive all of your backlogged HR experience. I popped instantly to 48 after it unlocked.

You're capped at 40 until you kill high rank aarkveld. There are a lot of points in high rank where your objective is just to increase your hunter rank, even if you're capped. In those cases, you may need to do 1-3 hunts before it will advance and unlock the next main quest.

If you're 43 though, it sounds like you've killed aarkveld and should be uncapped.

This isn't a completely true reply. They are beyond 40hr. I was at 40 exactly when i fought the final monster.

Like it is in every Monster Hunter.

If you're rank 43, you should be uncapped.

Are you doing higher level missions? Because if you're still doing very weak monsters or low level missions, your rank won't go up by much.

You are uncapped and can just walk out and hunt ♥♥♥♥ to raise it.
