CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT Possible solution
My head is bleeding for 2 days since this BSOD been crashing my PC like every 10 - 15 mins, I thought it was the mods after the patch but apparently not.

When I found out about I am not alone, and many others are also with Intel 12th Gen CPU, the first thing come to my mind is to disable E-Core!

Now I did two things, first, change my DualSense Edge controller from wired to Bluetooth. As I read someone did this but still having the BSOD, I believe the second one is more likely solved my problem.

This might get little technical so I will list more detail below.

First, I recommend using the software "Process Lasso", you can use it free but please support the developer if you liked it. Start the software, I recommend enable the Always On Top option from View menu.

Second, run Monster Hunter Wilds, then switch back to Process Lasso.

Third, from the Active processes tab, right click monsterhunterwilds.exe, then choose CPU Affinity -> Always -> Select CPU Affinity

Forth, a new window "Select CPU Affinity" will show up, now click the "P-Cores" button, then OK. You can now close "Process Lasso" or disable the Always On Top option.

Fifth, Play Monster Hunter Wilds see if the game still crash.

Lastly, you can save the configuration so you do not have to do this every time.

Hope this help.

For quite some players (including me) the solution was to stop playing with a DS4 or DS5 controller and use m+kb or xbox controller instead.
I will confirm tonight if it's DualSense or E-Core causing problem...
I have tested with the DualSense running both wired and bluetooth, confirm both setup are fine now. So in my case, my solution worked.

So far this seems to work. I have not BSOD but I have gotten a frozen screen so theres definitely some progress there! Going to do more tests through the day, thank you!

OK! Found a fix for me. I had to go into the BIOS and completely disable E Cores for the entire PC. I played for 4 hours no crashes. I made a video and gave you a shoutout for pointing me in the right direction. Thanks again dude

Just use the app and disable e-core for MHWs AND STEAM can also fix the problem. I didnt turn off e-cores in bios, since i want e-cores to run my background apps.
