Crash report tool on launch

hey, somebody knows how to fix the crash on launch, before i can ever see anything, just the black small window and i get a crash report tool, alredy reinstaled all the drivers, direct x, vc++ and verified the files of the game on steam, is there something else i can try?

You can try enabling Windows 8 Compatibility for your MHWilds. Be warned that this may cause flickering textures, though.

In the worst case scenario, I'd be certain that, instead of simply reinstalling Drivers, that you find if there's new ones to download. If you have an AMD card, their Drivers have been having some consistent issues, but updating has fixed them both times for me.

Share a DxDiag report and the crash report if you want advice.

Okay so here is MY solution to the crash on startup issue:
- I let my windows 10 do the update to .NET. (KB5050593)
That simple. was driving me mad. I usually tell windows to F itself and not to update anything, and it has been working really great ever since windows 3.0 - if it aint broke, don't fix it.
It's wasn't REFramework update, it wasn't rebuilding shaders, it wasn't veryfying files, it wasn't redownloading the game. And it sure as heck wasn't anything showing up on dxdiag.

So if you have had the game running previously but now it's just a big black window, then a small black window followed by the game closing down, you might want to check your windows update pending list for anything .NET related.

still didnt, have tried everything also the NET upload, thx everyone but stil on the same point, have played for 10 hours in 4 diferent days, one week of work and cant open it, small black windows and after few secs frezze crash report

For me the crash handler always pops up when I launch, I get the black screen that ends up full screening. I then drag the crash handler to my second monitor and then the game eventually loads up and plays fine. Just can't close the crash handler otherwise the game closes.

I wonder if maybe its installed on a corrupted sector of the drive. Try disk check, scan at windows start.
Don't do run as admin or disable fullscreen settings.
You might need to DDU your gfx drivers and start fresh.
Can try sfc /scannow, possibly a windows issue.
9 times out of 10 don't use compatibility mode.

This game does crash like a son of a though.

thats unfortunate, my game initially has the black window, but then it full screens, stays black for like 10 seconds then starts up.

i found the problem, i had corrupt files from a old preformance mod wich was staying on the game folder also after uninstalling the game, so after uninstalling the game i just deleted everything from the folder and installed it again without the mod cause was crashing the game after the last monster hunter update, was not anymore compatible anything, so just you all to know if someone has any quality of life mod like bar healths or preformance mod that can hapen and do any conflict sometimes, thank u all, much love everyone

Had a crash this morning, and I tried every possible solution posted online including here but nothings work for me except 1, disabling XMP in bios. Lol I know I dont understand why is this neither but this work for me no more crash, black screen and crash tool pop up.

XMP is essentially overclocking RAM, XMP is not always 100% stable and can result in crashes.
