New to the series (mostly) but this doesn't seem feasible to me, and I've only seen it happen twice.

What I'm curious about is how do these effect players who are not using these mods or whatever you wanna call them. I have friends who have quests like these saved as investigations who play on console and im concerned how it will effect their save file. Like will it glitch their game out or will the quest revert to normal rewards if they host it? Will it just give them all the extra rewards without issue or will it cause the game to lock up on them or bricking their save file?

I dont get even the point of it, If you are going to cheat just give yourself the items and move on. Why adjust quest rewards to this extreme level and ruing it for everyone else ?

Probably because of how the game code is manipulated. Whoever created the cheat probably couldn't figure out how to just give the items directly but figured out how to multiply the items you already get or multiply the number of rewards you get as well. Just a guess though.

My profile isn't private. None of my profiles are private, last I checked. I tend to wonder what hidden profiles are supposed to be hiding.
