Change in file size

I woke up this morning to my game being mysteriously gone from my desktop and also hidden in my Steam library. By the time i found it and began to re download it i noticed the size basically doubled. When I downloaded it Tuesday afternoon(3/11/25) it was a little over 65 gigs but as I began to re-download it(3/12/25) its OVER 120 gigs!?!? I'm not really mad about the change in size just wondering if anyone has an answer to why this might have happened?

did you add and enable the high res textures dlc? that's 70gb.

After my first play session i tried installing it but nothing appeared in my Steam Downloads or in game signifying its download. I guess it would make sense for the total download size to change if it believed I was playing with the High Res Texture Pack installed.

I removed the High res Texture Pack from my library and now the game is downloading at its original size. If anyone somehow has this same problem happen to them I hope this helps.

I am more irritated that your game was just gone. Are you using Steam Family Sharing or the beta client?
