He's done with Wilds for now until TU1 which will be 1 monster lol and one "hard" fight. Like all of us are. There's nothing to do in it.

He shares a lot of the same opinions us vets do on the franchise.

QoL doesn't make up for how braindead the gameplay has gotten in some aspects.

If he had a job to attend to and other responsibilities in life besides gaming, he might, like many regular players, not have reached his limit yet.

lmfao this happens a lot with new school players going to classic MH tbh. It's wild they're in high rank and don't realize yet tho. Anytime I see think 'why do they keep making games easier and easier' i'm reminded of times like this.

base world and rise were the same, in fact wilds has more content than base gen5s

Rise released on pc with about 5x more content than world did. World was not a very good monster hunter game.

You must think think Rampage is the 5x more content. The content which literally no one wanted, nor played past the point of the game "requiring" players to do it haha.

in all fairness gen ultimate is the version that includes the g rank, a mr equivalent expansion. Also as an anniversary sort of game it basically just puts a lot of the same content and assets from older games into it (not saying thats a bad thing btw, its awesome).

Though It's hard to disagree how light on content Wilds is, but its still more than base Tri so theres that. I myself after fiddling around more with more weapons will probably go play Rise.

A lot of the narrative as to why he is playing GU again is because yes the obvious 1) MH Wilds is purely a base level game.

But it goes beyond that. There are frustrations being expressed here like all of us veterans.
Very common opinion. The game is fluid but has the least amount of content ever in any MH for one thing. And he is discovering the difficulty differences in GU, including the difficulty of cutting tails off, the strategy, the wind pressure on moves etc etc.

He dies only few times on GU because that game is clunkfest compared to world/wilds XD
