Safi and KT were fun.
Yes. But it was the non-siege parts of them that were fun. The part where you gotta whittle them down to get to the actual fights were not. But that's just my opinion.

I thought about this as well, but I also thought I'd be the only one who cares, so I never brought it up. It was good fun, but I also sometimes wonder how fine a line Capcom is willing to walk with such a model.
MHW was the only (recent) game that had content designed purely for multiplayer, but even that had an offline update later on that scaled the few optional monsters to solo and kept seasonal event content cycling 24/7
MHW wasnt an mmo either, you just had to connect online to access the event servers. hopefully wilds goes handheld style and lets you download the event content, but im not hopeful honestly
