REMEMBER ... pre-order
This the only series with games worth pre-ordering. Well this and Dragon Quest.
I actually remember pre-ordering Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate back when it came out at a gamestop and the employee at the register said I was smart to do so because copies flew off the shelves very fast and I was the only one who pre-ordered at that store.
Literally every Monster Hunter game is good.
i think you're wrong in your assumption of how long it will last your pc, there is a common trend in game development to make games resource heavy as hell, if you check reddit you see a lot of people with the best hardware like 7800x3d + 4090rtx combos or intel i9 14900k + 4090, complaining about how unoptimised new AAA games are. This paired with denuvo drm, often makes them unplayable. They already make games with upscaling technology to be a requirement to reach targeted fps, wake up, moore's law is dead, computational power with each generation is minimal, and nvdia is scamming its customers by cutting down performance on each generation. Your proudly expensive 4090rtx is not a 4090, its a 4080ti. You can read more here. https://www.reddit.com/r/hardware/comments/1b0mtef/historical_analysis_of_nvidia_gpus_relative/?rdt=46116
- I have the funds set aside for it now I'll order it now
- Pre order bonus
- can still refund if the game is bad
- makes chuds mad
preorder cons
- none because the conspiracy theory that devs rush games if it has high preorders simply isn't how the development process works
- some annoying guy tells you how you're the problem in the gaming industry for being excited about something
the logic? It's not your money
