is it that hard to optimize your game geez
It shouldn't be used to get TO 60 FPS...
It's crazy.
3080s work fine as well
Man, it's so sad to see this attitude towards hardware. Something like the 1060 or the 1070 is an incredibly powerful piece of tech, but instead of trying to fully utilize the capabilities that are available, studios continue to skimp out and push the cost on the consumer.
Go and actually take a look at the gameplay they showcased and tell me with a straight face, that you think this justifies something along the lines of a 4070 or 4080 to run at 1080p/60fps.
Oh well, as long as there are people like you who are willing to gobble up the absolute slop that this industry pumps out, they will have all the incentive in the world to continue behaving this way.
The consumers absolutely won with that series of cards, 20xx was underwhelming for the price and we thought things would be back with the 30xx series but those were COVID cards, so wrecked by absurd pricing.
40xx series is a joke too, 4060 is an absolute joke in comparison to the 1060. Why they are even still releasing 8GB cards under the assumption they do ok at 1080p is beyond me.
I would even understood if they wanted to push the game for 20xx, and i'm being generous here considering how basic the graphic of the game are looking. But 4060, for 60 fps? Please, this is not a stand comedy show.
But like you said people will keep supporting this ♥♥♥♥, so who cares.
i played the beta and it ran like ♥♥♥♥ with lots of textures not loading properly so indeed
