RTX 3060 ti or Rtx 4060 ti?

my GPU is old and only have 4gb i was thinking of upgrading it because i want this play this game and other games !
i heard RTX 4060 is trash so RTX 3060 ti will be able to run this game?
3060 ti with 12 gb of vram !

Just a correction, 3060TI has 8gigs of vram (I have one), RTX 3060 (non TI) has a version of 12 gigs.
Going for the 16 gigs version of the 4060TI is your best bet, if you can afford it of course.

Both will be able to run the game fine, they're well above the minimum requirements, just don't expect to max out settings, and we could even see frame drops depending on their optimization.

I would wait for a sale on November and see what their price is at, you might be able to get something even better like rtx 4070 or Rx 7800 XT, but if your budget can't reach them, I would get 4060 ti for newer features even though is not that much better than the 3060 ti. But if the difference is more than 50 dollars, i'd consider the 3060 ti a bit more, if you get it cheap, you can upgrade in 3 years from here to newer cards.

4060 isn't trash, it just isn't as big a generational leap price-to-performance-wise as previous 60 cards were, so people were upset. I would say get the 4060 ti or 4070 super if you can afford it.

30 series don't have dlss 3 so your frame is gonna be like atleast 25 fps lower.

The 4060ti is trash, dont buy it. You will get similar performance with the 3060 ti and same 8gb, now the 16gb is just nonsense, almost $500 when you can grab a 4070 for $550. If you really want nvidia, go for either regular 3060/4060, 3060 ti, or 4070. But if you are open minded to buy amd, get a RX 6750 XT, it performs better than a 4060ti, has 12gb of vram, and you can buy one for around $300, wich is almost the retail price for the regular 3060, and almost double the fps depending on the game.

I would look at youtube videos comparing the performances. Watch multiple videos so you can see the differences.

4060ti performs like 3070 nowadays and not like 3060ti as how it was at launch
So i'd say buy rx 6700xt or 7700xt instead

Like I said, 4070 super is the best deal. Pretty sure OP wants to save money though since he only mentioned entry level cards, in which case 4060 ti would likely be best for Wilds considering the sys reqs.

4060 ti can be had with 16gb BUT only hast a 128 bit memory interface and can usually not compete with the amd gpu
4070(super) 12 gb 192 bit memory interface, usually higher in price compared the amd while in terms of performance trading blows (nv is better in rt, and framegen while is better in rasterising amd also has the memory advantage here)
framegen so, below 60fps "native frames" is debatable at best.

but then there are rumors that nv´s next gen is around the corner within the next 6 month,...

memory can even become an issue with cards with 12gb in 1080p and 1440p
most imprtant apsect usually are textures

i can't offered the 4070 it's like 550$ here and RTX 4060 ti is 336$ and RTX 3060 ti is 249$

how about the rx7700xt (12 gb)?

but then we do not know yet how the game will perform
if it prefers team red or team green ormaybe even team blue
so it is hard to give a recomendation
