Its not in beta cause each voice pack/language add to the size and they tried to keep it as small as they could size wise
But yeah, thats my big cope,I really hope its in the full game, cause I can't stand the eng dub and japanese is fine but I reaaaally prefer MH Language when I play those games, been using it since day one it'd feel weird to stop.
They give the option for cats to be cats again but remove the language? Would be weird,I hope my cope theory is right
Yeah I hope so too.
Gonna be honest: If that feature is not in the full game, I might actually skip out on buying MH Wilds at launch. And I know some people are gonna be like:
"You're going to skip out on a good game because they removed one feature?!"
Yes. Yes, I would. That feature means a lot to me because its my preferred way to get immersed in the world of MH. I enjoyed every game with that voice language option and I don't want to stop now.
Then on PC they actually added advanced graphics and now full voice acting even for the MC, so you want to feel like you are back on Nintendo? lol...
Not at all. The first MH game was on the PlayStation 2, which was obviously capable of having VO.s, but Capcom wanted to give the game a specific, stone age feel to it, so the NPCs talking in their ancient MH language has been a part of every MH game up until now.
The "data" also suggests that the hunting horn is the least used weapon type in the entire Monster Hunter series, and yet they keep including it into every game.
You and I both know that relying solely on data is not a good idea when it comes to game development. So many game studios, especially western AAA studios in recent years, keep relying on data to suggest what their plans should be, and it hasn't been working out for them in the long run. If Capcom starts going down that route, it's not going to work out well for them, either.
dude they literally revamped the ♥♥♥♥ out of Hunting horn on MH Rise to change this.
and its stupid to erase a weapon, they would be losing all progress they did on it. voices in the other hand needs NEW recordings every single time. so no they are not the same ( they probably took that time to put voiced cats in game )
Yeah, they revamped the Hunting Horn in MH RIse so much that they alienated nearly every veteran Hunting Horn user (me being one of them) because of how radically different the mechanics were compared to the Hunting Horn in past games. It caused a lot of HH vets to complain about it, so much that Capcom decided to change it again in Monster Hunter Wilds, so now the Hunting Horn in this game will play closer to the Hunting Horn in Monster Hunter World, because all the Hunting Horn needed was tweaks and improvements, not a revamp.
Besides: What data suggested that players wanted their Palicos to talk? Players were perfectly fine with Palicos just meowing, and yet Capcom went through all the trouble of giving them voice options. Seems like a waste of resources in my book.
But they went through all that trouble because "The data" said they should? It once again expresses my point that relying solely on data isn't a good idea. Development needs to be a mix between data, player feedback, and the developers vision. If enough people ask to have MH Language in the game, they will absolutely put it back in, and I will be sending my feedback if/when a player survey gets sent out regarding this.
With how successful Capcom has been with Monster Hunter since Worlds, I fail to see why they would not be able to spare a few more dollars and resources to include a long standing aspect of Monster Hunter that has been a part of the series since the PS2 era.
Right blame the hardware instead of the software.
You realize that MHR also had VA, too, right?
Oh, right, you probably dont play "Nintendo" games
Its there alright
