psn account needed?

i was wondering if we will need to have a psn account to play this.
if we do would it be possible to buy it on both ps5 and pc so my wife and i can play together?
or would that not work since its the same psn account

For the steam version, online is completely free, for the ps5 version, you need psn to play online. You have to buy a copy on pc and a copy on the ps5 to play together, cross play is supported.

even if my steam is linked to the very psn account she is playing on, there will be no issues?

I'm not so sure so you're going to have to dig deeper, in that scenario it wouldn't work in a game that has cross save (like diablo 4), but this is not a feature in wilds, still I have no conclusion. If you can't find anything maybe contact steam, playstation or capcom's support.

Maybe not a PSN account but possibly a Capcom account? As its not a PS game but rather a Capcom game

Cross-play = no "third-party accounts" needed... Albeit, I can't vouch for the Capcom I. D. thing -- SF6 needs that.

You prob will need a capcom ID,any game using crossplay need it like SF and Exoprimal
But no,you don't need a psn account if on pc

im hoping to get the bonuses from own wrld an ice born but i switched to pc from ps lol i want those bonuses even though there probably just cosmetic
