And don't worry from your comments I can see reading ain't a strong point of yours lmao
That being said, Capcom might force crossplay on and this may not even be the only solution.
There is actually a better way.... from what I heard, Remnant (don't know which version) that modded players can't join public match if they have mods install. If they want to join public game session "again", they will need to remove all mods. If they want to keep playing with mods, they have to add players privately to even play.
I like this idea. Sounds good for both sides really...
no one want farm 1% drop item maybe have grented drop with more chalange desighn? so rewared based on skill not about your free time?
i dont care about theses stuff but understandable if somoen mode it, games are NOT job.
living under a rock? you can force same console only in the options when setting up a lobby
Mods are still considered "cheating" by giving players an 'advantage' to 'giving you instant of x of amount of something' and 'giving you power quickly'. This is not fun and destroying another players progress. Like myself and my friends, we enjoy farming for things and there is skills / merit to earning your keep.
There is no skills if you cheat and use mods to give you an advantage!
That's a valid opinion to have, but... I imagine that means monster hunter as a franchise is not for you. Grind is an inherent part of the design, always has been. If you need mods to properly enjoy it, it's probably not your type of game to begin with.
9 times out of 10, a random joins a hunt, gets killed multiple times and causes the hunt to fail.
Some people actually do it on purpose just to troll, but obviously most of the time the person is actually just that bad at the game.
(Use a DPS Checker and you can also see how bad more than half of the players are.)
They play more safe and cautious, hence their lower dps and yet somehow still constantly die.
PUGS have caused me to only play with friends or Solo if they're not on especially if I just wanna farm something quickly since I can kill the monsters faster solo due to the HP not being scaled up.
