About Hunting Horn Weapon

If one of my weapon is hunting Horn, i give a buff effect to my char with it and then i switch to another weapon for instance hammer. Will the buff effect carry on when i switch to the hammer?

So it means Hunting Horn will be a perfect secondary weapon. I'm pretty sure mostly players will choose this weapon to be a secondary weapon, only for giving a buff and then switch to main weapon.

You could theoretically do that but it depends on how quick weapon switching is and how long the buff lasts tbh, which I don't think the HH buffs tend to last for too long. You'd be switching a lot, probably

Reckon if you're fast enough to take advantage of HH buffs before they run out after swapping, you'd be even faster by just sticking to one weapon.

HH Buffs only last about a minute or so with horn maestro. You'd toss inspiration on there too for some more DPS. However, the time to swap back and re-apply the buffs would be so long it wouldn't be worth the damage loss.
You'll get a 1min ATK UP (L) buff going into any engagement though, I guess. I feel like you'd be better off with a secondary weapon of the same type though, or at least a similar weapon like having hammer as a backup for Hunting Horn, or Lance as a backup for Gunlance.

Using hunting horn as a secondary probably wont be "meta sweat" thing as the buff dont last too long and the time you gain usually dont last long enough to warrant a swap.

So you basically have one weapon instead of having 2 good weapons

you should rewatch cause they said its 100% gonna keep buffs, except the hunting horn specific one.

Sounds fun! So deco on horn for sonorous would boost at activation and maybe stay on after swapping.
