Steam needs to learn math

it rounds down, hence "approximately", the countdown is more accurate when it's closer to release

They dont count the days they count the months
If its not entirely 3 months, its 2 months

Yep, the counter rounds down by the largest integer. So if any months are left it's rounded down to the month. AKA 1.99 months is just "approximately 1 month".

Steam does the same for days too once they become the largest interger. Which always leaves people confused. Makes them think it's coming out one day sooner than it actually is. Because 71 hours until a game comes out is 2 days and 23 hours and Steam will always round down to just "approximately 2 days" even if it's basically 3 days away.
