*ehem* "Cease and Desist"
Want to add Ninteno sued a guy for selling his n64, the amount they sued him for $25.

LMAO, paranoid and gullible.
Still don't change the fact they can in theory do it, because it is in their license and agreement, take a read of it, plus steam already have the "you buy only a license to use the product" meaning they can pull it whenever they want however they want.
Might been satire then it is my bad, but they STILL can just take it from you because japanese laws are like that.
Too add how much modern physcal copies work that you must downloaded rest of the game via internet, what do you think happens if you can't do it anymore.
Even physical copies are considered liscenses so they can be revoked, same goes with cars infact companies can just deactivate modern cars due to breach of contract.
Palworld is "unavailable" to Japan due to the current lawsuit.
I, too, lost the ability to watch the first Transformers movie AFTER purchasing it in the 5 movie collection.
First, its video games, and then its your digital movie collection.
And still, they can release an update that pretty much breaks the game entirely or straight up remove it, but when that happens the developer/publisher will lose the respect from their fans and fans would never buy games from them.
I certainly will never buy another ubisoft game ever since they removed the crew, because i know that they are capable of doing that with any other game they publish.
If you are willing to believe that everyone not only can do it, but WILL do it, then never buy anything ever again and start living like an amish if you are that paranoid.
I cannot deny anymore due to the fact that the movie that I bought IN A DIGITAL BUNDLE was "unbundled" and needs "Paramount Subscription" to watch it now.
I am not saying that physical games are going to be taken from you but moreso in the digital side of things, even with those physical games.
Games that require online passes will die because the servers will die as well.
Will they come knocking at your door and take your physical games? No, they won't.
Will there be a slight chance they will take away your digital games? Yes, unless you live in the EU, which has a completely different law compared to the rest of the world.
Just like the saying "the world doesn't revolve around you", it doesn't also revolve around the EU laws either.
Said it 120% better then what i did.
Once activated, it stays.
Taken from nintendo user agreement
Article 8 Court of Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any dispute between you and Nintendo arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Kyoto District Court as the court of first instance.
They have it in fine print, in theory they can, will they do it? No.
