Nintendo in reality can deny you playing on the n64 and has copyright striked people who streamed n64 games their reason "You emulated our game" even if you bought the game system and the game.

I dont know about pure streamer uses emu takedowns when a game fully was released.

I do know of one person that comissioned an MP mod for a zelda game that got taken down (with obvious reason cause thats tampering with a whole game), and a emu console, aside from targeting the devs of emus themselfs, and a recent presumedly NDA strike because a guy streamed non releassed games prior release

But they otherwise I dont think ever targeted players. One woujld think GDQ would be taken down then ages ago.

Bare in mind, it's legal almost everywhere to make use of your own cartridges.

Back in MH's case however, MH doesnt really contain licensing or something similair where a third party etxept valve would forcefully shut it down and I just dont see valve going bankrubt with steam being a thing. They probally probally make much more money then your average successfull store.

I am not saying that physical games are going to be taken from you but moreso in the digital side of things, even with those physical games.

Games that require online passes will die because the servers will die as well.

Will they come knocking at your door and take your physical games? No, they won't.

Will there be a slight chance they will take away your digital games? Yes, unless you live in the EU, which has a completely different law compared to the rest of the world.

Just like the saying "the world doesn't revolve around you", it doesn't also revolve around the EU laws either.
