Sadly I think this is reasonably accurate. The propaganda and brainwashing will continue for a bit until all funds have dried up. It's very probable however that Amazon and Meta are making this turnaround because Trump is likely to freeze their government funding if they don't. Similarly other companies that take significant amounts of funds from the government are likely to change their behavior too. But this is just for 4 years, after that some democrat magically obtains power again and we're back to square one on this.

And within those 4 years, we're still stuck with the blackrock funded companies trying to shove political activism down our throats. Worst is, none of these companies will actually die, they will all get bought by Microsoft at some point. I would not be surprised that at some point in the next 4 years all AAA games are owned by Microsoft and stringent regulation will be unleashed upon the indies to make sure they can't compete (corporatism 101).
