I don't get why lock at 60FPS? Monitors can now operate @120-144Hz++
Like seriously, devs? Locked at 60FPS????

I couldn't get above 120 on minimum details with dlss ultra performance on a 7800X3D and 4080 super lol

Did you disable Vsync?

You can run uncapped framerate?

Of course I did.

Many people said that changing graphic settings doesn't change much which I could replicate as well.

With DLSS quality and high preset I still got 100 fps.

The difference just doesn't feel right.

Changing graphics settings but not getting improved performance is the clear symptom of a CPU bottleneck.

What is your processor?

It's called a bottleneck. Graphic settings, as the name implies, will only do anything to reduce the load on your GPU. If your CPU/RAM/Storage is already struggling, all it does is to increase the idle time on your GPU while not changing anything performance wise, since the GPU still need to wait for the CPU finish before sending the next frame.

The correct way to work with graphical settings isn't just lower settings = more performance, it's to find the point all your other components have the same workload all around. That said, it's quite possible that you'll get smoother gameplay with higher settings.

Why would you? DLSS is the better technology.

Figures the person trying to convince everyone Wilds is gonna flop is also an nvidia fan.

I stated a fact and that's how you try to counter it?
Maybe do some research first. I already know why DLSS is better, you clearly don't with that empty argument, if you can even call it that.

Because FSR FG not only produces more frames but it has lower latency too.

You think I was trying to counter it? It's called an observation.
You're clearly so inside your own bubble that you can't even comprehend people having different hardware to you

Also, FSR is the superior product, for one simple reason.

DLSS 3 is paywalled on to only 4XXX series GPU's, but FSR works for EVERYONE. For free.

That alone makes it better. Open source beats paywall, full stop.

Did you already forget? You suggested someone to use FSR on a nvidia gpu capable of DLSS.
Maybe you should rethink your argument.

FSR might work for any hardware, but at the cost of not being able to beat hardware specific features, which DLSS is.

Where did I do that?

Did you forget GamingWithSilvertail is probably speaking from personal experience with their 3060 Ti? That doesn't have DLSS 3?
