How to introduce an invader monster.

Like the jho and bagel. You start with a large monster that is in the wrong area, causing fights, but why is it out of its natural habitat? Thus creating buildup. Most veteran will guess it is the jho or bagel, but instead, it is a completely new monster, a pseudo elder dragon level predator.

Personally, i think a giant snake type monster that burrows would be cool.
